Fresh ginger and freshly squeezed lime join balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard in this salad dressing that also makes a lovely marinade.
¾ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tsp sesame seeds
salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

In a small skillet over medium heat, toast sesame seeds until golden. Cool seeds to room temperature.

Whisk together all ingredients and store, refrigerated, in an airtight bottle.
