Mustard Shake & Bake

Homemade shake and bake is easy, inexpensive and tastes great too!

 8 chicken drumsticks, skinned, 2 lbs
 ¼ cup whole grain mustard
  cup plain dried bread crumbs
 1 tsp dried herbs such as tarragon, thyme or oregano
 dash onion powder
 ½ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450°F. Prepare a large baking sheet by spraying with non-stick cooking spray.

Lightly brush drumsticks with mustard.

Mix all dry ingredients in a zip-lock bag. Add drumsticks; close the bag and shake well ensuring drumsticks are well coated.

Place coated drumsticks on baking sheet and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until cooked through (juices run clear).
